Iceland's first all-inclusive fan convention announced

Nexus and Cosplay Iceland have just announced Iceland's first all-inclusive fan convention, Midgard, which will cover video games, books, comics, table top games, board games, cosplay, artists and other subjects.

According to a joint statement sent to press, Midgard 2018 will be held on September 15th and 16th 2018, at Laugardalshöll in Reykjavik, Iceland. The event will be packed with panels, workshops, vendors, artists and exhibitors, and will run for 2 days.

Midgard 2018 will be host to multiple tournaments and competitions, such as the Icelandic Cosplay Championship, the Nordic Cosplay Championship, Warhammer 40k tournaments, X-wing Tournaments, Board game competitions, and much more.

"With a combined convention and event experience of over 30 years, consisting of members from Nexus, Cosplay Iceland, and the Nordic Cosplay Championship team Iceland, the team is dedicated to offering a welcoming and safe home to fans of all genres."
