Reykjavik restaurant has to change its name all because of Tom Cruise

Remember that last meal Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had before they got divorced in Reykjavik? Well if you don't, it occurred at a place called Sushi Samba, a very popular restaurant which in turn made headlines around the world.

This swift rise to publicity was both good and bad for the restaurant.  Only a month after the famous dinner before one of Hollywood's most talked about divorces, the owners of Sushi Samba received a letter stating that the name Sushi Samba was a registered trademark of Samba LLC, an American company. They sued the Icelandic restaurant, which lost the case recently.  So now Sushi Samba is called Sushi Social and has just reprinted menus and changed their logo.

"The new name came up because of the social atmosphere in our restaurant, we have a lot of regulars. We'll be exactly the same good restaurant, just with a new name, " says Bento Costa Guerriro who is one of the owners.
