Iceland Met Office issues storm warning: Hurricane force winds tomorrow

A south east storm or violent gale is expected in the west part of Iceland tomorrow.
The announcement from the Iceland Met Office is as follows:
Southeast strong gale today, increasing wind during the night. Southeast storm or violent gale in the west part of Iceland tomorrow, 23-30 m/s, strongest wind in the northwest part around noon. Rapidly decreasing wind in the afternoon. Violent gale or hurricane force can also be expected in the highlands tomorrow, (25-35 m/s). Southeast 18-25 m/s in the east part tomorrow, but moderating tomorrow evening. Rain in most parts and mild weather, but mostly dry in the north.
