Twitter jarðaði höfund Fifty Shades of Grey

EL James var m.a. gagnrýnd fyrir stíl sinn og málfar í bókunum. Skjáskot af Twitter

Twitter-notendur létu endalausar hæðnislegar spurningar dynja á höfundi bókanna Fifty Shades of Grey, EL James, en hún sat fyrir svörum á Twitter í gær. Flestir fjölmiðlar vestanhafs eru á því að það hafi verið mistök, ímyndarlega séð, að láta höfund þessara mjög svo umdeildu bóka svara spurningum á miðli sem þekktur er fyrir að vera vettvangur hvassra, beittra og kaldhæðnislegra ummæla.

Margar spurningarnar sem James fékk eru einfaldlega ekki birtingahæfar en í bókunum er fjallað um kynni Christians Grey og hinnar ungu Anastasiu. Bækurnar fjalla m.a. um BDSM-kynlíf parsins og hefur undirgefni stúlkunnar og valdafíkn og misnotkun, að margra mati ofbeldi, mannsins m.a. verið gagnrýnd. Þá segja þeir sem stunda BDSM-kynlíf að allar reglur þess séu þverbrotnar í samskiptum parsins.

EL James var spurð spjörunum úr með kassamerkinu AskELJames og lét hún vera að svara þeim mörgum. Í einhverjum tilvikum „faldi“ hún spurningarnar.

Í frétt AP-fréttastofunnar um málið segir að nú sé EL James að skrifa fyrstu bókina í þríleiknum á nýjan leik - en í þetta sinn út frá sjónarhóli Christians Grey en ekki Anastasiu Steele. Þetta var meðal þess sem notendur Twitter notuðu óspart í spurningum sínum gær.

Hér að neðan gefur að líta nokkrar spurningar sem James fékk en eins og sjá má voru gagnrýnendur hennar og bókanna hvað háværastir:
