New square in Klambratún park in Reykjavik

A new square has been set up in Klambratún park in East Central Reykjavik.  The square is located south of Kjarvalstaðir art museum.  The designer of the square is Elízabet Guðný Tómasdóttir landscape architect at Landslag. 

According to an announcement from the City of Reykjavik the square offers the opportunity of hosting open air art exhibitions and connects the museum better to the park.
