One of Iceland's top chefs opens restaurant in Selfoss

Sigurður Ágústson, a former member of the Icelandic culinary team is opening a new restaurant in Selfoss, South Iceland, called Krisp. 

Ágústsson, who is the former head chef of the Silfra restaurant at the ION hotel in Nesjavellir, confirmed to Mbl.is that the restaurant is opening and says that it will become a "sort of a fine bistro with emphasis on a coal oven and Asian flavours."

The restaurant will also serve smaller dishes to share as well as hamburgers and steaks. Krisp will open this weekend and is located at Eyrarvegur 8.
