Skiing areas open in today's sunshine

Today, ski resorts are open both in Bláfjöll just outside Reykjavik and in Hlíðarfjall mountain in Akureyri, North Iceland. 

Bláfjöll, or the Blue Mountaints are open between 10 and 17 today with a temperature of 8 below zero and bright beautiful sunshine.  According to an annoncement the snow conditions are also fairly good, the snow is a little hard but no ice.
