Earthquakes in North Iceland

Earthquakes continue North West of Gjögurtá with the largest quake last night measuring 2.9 and occuring at 01.21. It was followed by several aftershocks.
The quake was felt in Siglufjörður, Akureyri and Ólafsfjörður. Earthquakes in this area occur once in a while according to the Iceland Met Office.
