Huge iceberg spotted north of West Fjords
A gigantic iceberg was spotted by the crew of fishing vessel Engey RE-1 north of Ísafjarðardjúp yesterday.
Icebergs of this size are not unusual at this time of year says the Iceland Met Office.
This iceberg measures around 20 metres which is around the size of an eight story building.
The tip of the iceberg, the only part visible, is only 10 percent of the iceberg itself.
