Road Administration warns of dangerous horizontal winds in North Iceland

The Iceland Road Administration warns of strong horizontal winds today in North Iceland, especially in Siglufjarðarvegur. There is a yellow weather warning in the area. 

Windspeed will go up to 40-50 m/s.  The worst of the weather will hit at 3 pm and continue into the night. Most roads in Iceland are clear of snow however, although they are icy in some parts.
