Hlemmur Square hotel offers discounted rates to stranded passengers

The hotel and hostel Hlemmur Square in central Reykjavik are doing their bit to help soothe nerves over the WOW air operation closure. They are offering discount rates for stranded travellers as well as food and drink specials.

"Unfortunately this morning WOW air ceased all its operations, and cancelled all their flights.

We are aware of the inconvenience this has caused many travellers; and with your safety and comfort in mind, we are doing our best to accommodate all of your needs.

If you are currently staying with us, please see reception about extending your stay (if need be) at a discounted rate.
We'll also be doing drink specials and discounted rates at the bar and restaurant today for travelers currently stranded.

If you have booked with us at a future date and your flight has been cancelled please send us an email to booking@hlemmursquare.com to re-arrange your stay, or for more information.

Please know that we are doing everything we possibly can to make sure that you are being well taken care-of during this difficult time and we'll try to resolve every situation as quickly as possible."
