The mother of a disabled young woman has been accused of threatening to kill her daughters coach.  This is reported by today's Fréttablaðið newspaper.

The woman, speaking to Fréttablaðið says that she's surprised that she gets indicted before the man, a boccia coach suspected of sexually abusing several mentally disabled women which he was coaching.

The mother of the young woman apparently became so enraged when she heard about what the man was suspected of doing that she told him, "I will kill you, you bastard, or I will have you killed."

According to the woman, the man has continued his abuse since suspicions arose in 2014.

According to Fréttablaðið the man has worked for a long time as a boccia trainer, and had close relationships with the women he coached, offering them accommodation and gaining their trust.

Charges were brought against the man in 2015 but the district attourney has not yet decided whether he will be brought to court.
