Tourist dies after fall at Reynisfjara, Iceland's most dangerous beach
A woman who was travelling with her family on holiday in Iceland is dead after falling with her head onto a rock on a walking path at Reynisfjara beach yesterday in South Iceland.
She was transported to the National University Hospital in Reykjavik by helicopter.
She died earlier today.
Reynisfjara beach is known for its rugged beauty and black sands but it's also a beach where sneaker waves have claimed several lives.
