The Icelandic quidditch team, called Ragnarök,  competed in the Nordic cup 2018 last weekend and landed in 6th place. Quidditch is a sport that is inspired by the Harry Potter books.

"Landing us the final 6th place which we were amazed about, it was an absolutely fantastic weekend. Iceland had never won a quidditch match before and people predicted that we would end up in the last places. So we exceeded our own and other people's expectations," says coach Sigurður Skúli Sigurgeirsson.

Quidditch is not played using broomsticks to fly on like in Harry Potter, but is more like a mixture of handball and rugby.
