Icelanders increasingly study medicine abroad

Hundreds of Icelanders are studying medicine abroad. Most of those who have completed their studies did so in Denmark and Hungaria. 

Around 150 Icelanders have completed their medicinal studies abroad since the year 2010. Of those, 126 completed their studies in Denmark and Hungaria. 

The biggest increase of students studying medicine was in Slovakia, with 160 students there this autumn.
