Að minnsta kosti sex létust og níu til viðbótar særðust í skotárás í borginni Sacramento í Kaliforníu snemma í morgun. AFP-fréttastofan greinir frá.

Í yfirlýsingu sem lögreglan í Sacramento birti á Twitter kemur fram að að fórnarlömb skotárásarinnar hafi verið að minnsta kosti fimmtán, sex séu látnir.

Áður hafði lögreglan sent frá sér tilkynningu þar sem fólk var beðið um að halda sig fjarri vettvangi þar sem mikil lögregluaðgerð væri í gangi og enn gæti verið hætta á ferðum.
